FAQs

The KS3 Continuous Ketone Monitoring (CKM) System is designed to measure ketone levels in the interstitial fluid of adults aged 18 and older. It helps users track ketone trends in real-time using a wearable sensor and mobile app. This system is not intended for diagnosing, treating, or monitoring medical conditions, and should not be used by individuals with extensive skin issues or implanted medical devices.

No. The KS3 CKM System is only for individuals aged 18 and older and should not be used for medical decisions or disease management.

Apply the sensor only to the back of your upper arm, avoiding areas with scars, tattoos, moles, stretch marks, or skin folds. Choose a flat area that does not bend during daily activities. Always rotate application sites between uses to avoid skin irritation. Before applying, clean the area with soap and water, dry it, then wipe with alcohol. Ensure the skin is completely dry before proceeding.

Each sensor is designed to last up to 14 days. However, heavy sweating, intense exercise, or improper skin preparation can cause the sensor to loosen prematurely. If the sensor becomes detached or the tip comes out of the skin, discard it and apply a new one.

Yes. The sensor has an IP38 water resistance rating, meaning it can be submerged up to 1 meter for up to 1 hour. You can wear it while showering or swimming but avoid direct high-pressure water and prolonged submersion.

First, ensure Bluetooth is turned on and your phone is within 10 meters of the sensor with no major obstacles. If pairing still fails, restart the app and try again. If the issue persists, contact support.

Yes. Historical data is displayed in the app. If your app version supports data export, you can find this option in the “My Sensors” section under “Data Details.”

No. The sensor stores data internally and syncs it to the app once the connection is restored. However, ensure your app remains up to date and your phone has enough storage to receive data.

Yes. However, remove it before undergoing security procedures involving strong electromagnetic fields such as MRI, CT, or X-rays.

Yes, within limits. Avoid prolonged submersion or strong water jets.
